大城です．

研究室で次の CD-ROM 辞書を購入しました．

  ・広辞苑
  ・研究社英和中辞典
  ・研究社和英中辞典
  ・リーダース英和辞典

それぞれセットアップを行い，利用可能になっています．ただし，通常の漢字
コードとは異なる外字がうまく処理できていないため，多少嘘の表示が出る場
合があることに留意して下さい（特に英辞書の発音記号は怪しいです）．

次のコマンドで利用できます．（後ろのカッコ内には CD-ROM を動作させてあ
るホスト名を記述してあります．動作がおかしいばあいは ws-admin まで連絡
下さい）．

  ・広辞苑             kdic  (tec101)
  ・研究社英和中辞典   edic  (tecA105)
  ・研究社和英中辞典   jedic (tecA105)
  ・リーダース英和辞典 redic (tecA192)

検索例を載せます．jedic の和英辞書を用いたものです．

研究社中辞典 (edic/jedic) では "university"「大学」「だいがく」とアル
ファベット・漢字・ひらがな読みのどちらの表記でも検索できますが，リーダー
ス (redic) では "university"「大学」（アルファベット・漢字表記），kdic 
では「だいがく」（ひらがな表記）のみとなっています．ややこしいですが覚
えて利用して下さい．

コマンドラインから kdic などと打ち込む他にも辞書は mule エディタ上から
利用可能です．日本語の入力などが必要な場合はこちらが便利かもしれません．
online-dictionary というもの [A] と kdic などを直接呼び出すもの [B] が
あります．

  ※ [A] はメニュー操作が出来ますが操作が繁雑になります．[B] はシンプ
     ルなインターフェースになっています．

~/.emacs で次の設定を行って mule の再起動後に "M-x online-dictionary" 
として下さい．
